What Makes the Inca Trail So Special?

The Inca Trail is not just a hike—it is a journey through time. Along the route, you will explore ancient ruins such as Llactapata, Runkurakay, Sayacmarca, Phuyupatamarca, and Wiñay Wayna, each revealing fascinating insights into Inca engineering and spiritual life.

Unlike other treks to Machu Picchu, the Inca Trail combines natural beauty, archaeology, and history, culminating in a spectacular entrance to Machu Picchu through the Sun Gate at sunrise.

Our Inca Trail Tour Options

We offer several Inca Trail tours to Machu Picchu from Peru, adapted to different travel styles and fitness levels:

Classic Inca Trail (4 days / 3 nights)

The most famous and comprehensive route. It allows you to travel 42 km of ancient trails, passing through archaeological sites such as Llactapata, Runkurakay, Sayacmarca, Phuyupatamarca, and Wiñay Wayna, until you reach Machu Picchu at dawn on the last day.

Short Inca Trail (2 days / 1 night)

Perfect for those who don’t have much time. It starts at km 104, with a 6-hour hike that includes a visit to Wiñay Wayna and entry to Machu Picchu through the Sun Gate. You spend the night in Aguas Calientes and the next day you take a guided tour of Machu Picchu.
